I'm so glad you gave Jessica Chastain a shout out. She accumulated an extraordinary body of work in 2011: The Help, Tree of Life, Coriolanus, Take Shelter, and The Debt. Actually, her first (!) film role was the lead in "Wilde Salome" (based on Oscar Wilde's play) with Al Pacino as King Herod, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival, 2011. (I don't think the movie has been released in the US). Wow.
